Blest are those who love you, happy those who follow you, Blest are those who seek you Oh God
This song actually reminds me of Jesus is talking to me. Beautiful lyrics.
- Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
- Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. Psalm 55:22 (NIV)
-Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowleadge him, and he will make your path straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
“City on the Hill”
Did you hear of the city on the hill?
Said one old man to the other
It once shined bright and it would be shining still
But they all started turning on each otherYou see, the poets thought the dancers were shallow
And the soldiers thought the poets were weak
And the elders saw the young ones as foolish
And the rich man never heard the poor man speakAnd one by one, they ran away
With their made-up minds to leave it all behind
And the light began to fade in the city on the hill
The city on the hillEach one thought that they knew better
But they were different by design
Instead of standing strong together
They let their differences divideAnd one by one, they ran away
With their made-up minds to leave it all behind
And the light began to fade in the city on the hillThe city on the hill
And the world is searching still
But it was the rhythm of the dancers
That gave the poets life
It was the spirit of the poets
That gave the soldiers strength to fight
It was the fire of the young ones
It was the wisdom of the old
It was the story of the poor man
That needed to be toldIt is the rhythm of the dancers
That gives the poets life
It is the spirit of the poets
That gives the soldiers strength to fight
It is the fire of the young ones
It is the wisdom of the old
It is the story of the poor man
That’s needing to be toldOne by one, will we run away
With our made-up minds to leave it all behind
As the light begins to fade in the city on the hillOne by one, will we run away
With our made-up minds to leave it all behind
As the light begins to fade in the city on the hill
The city on the hillCome home
And the Father’s calling still
Come home to the city on the hill
Come home

I am grateful for all that I have. At times, it may not seem like much to me but I know I am blessed. Thank you for always being here. Thank you for listening to me rant and beg for things I think I need. Thank you for giving me strength when I needed it most. Thank you for never leaving me alone. I trust that you have a plan for me and please forgive any doubts I may have in about them. I have faith in you and therefore, in myself. Thank you. Love you.
Do Not Worry
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
One of many hard lessons I am still trying to learn.
This is such a Great Message
sometimes we complain about the cross we bear not realizing that it’s preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we cannot…

I think that most people go into bookshops and have no idea what they want to buy. Somehow, the books sit there, almost magically willing people to pick them up. The right person for the right book. It’s as though they already know whose life they need to be a part of, how they can make a difference, how they can teach a lesson, put a smile on a face at just the right time.

this is a beautiful story.
I love this book from Cecelia Ahern! “When Rainbow Ends”
We all get lost once in a while, sometimes by choice, sometimes due to forces beyond our control. When we learn what it is our soul needs to learn, the path presents itself. Sometimes we see the way out but wander further and deeper despite ourselves; the fear, the anger or the sadness preventing us returning. Sometimes we prefer to be lost and wandering, sometimes it’s easier. Sometimes we find our own way out. But regardless, always, we are found.
